![]() Simplified rendering code, it will get a full overhaul once 1.15 becomes the target version.Improved performance of the radial menu noticeably.morphing bit can both be toggle between placement/swap and can be locked. Clearer internal code structure allowing for double (same-type) properties, e.g.Fixed issues with item mode selection happening on arbitrary sides (now always server-sided).Fixed crashes when item mode selection would get triggered for the wrong item.Fixed issues where items could have wrong type of modes.Fully rewrote code managing item properties, (modes, tape measure colour, place/swap, etc.) this has had the following effects:.Creative menu now has a search bar to make it easier to find bit types.Chiseled block placement now does custom raytracing which takes shapes of other chiseled blocks into account so you can place something behind another block.concrete?color=red is now red_concrete and that had to be mapped) Old worlds converted through WorldFixer now properly map all bit types used as it now uses Mojang's DataFixer to determine new names.Fixed issue where item menu didn't properly update when bag contents changed. ![]() Fixed issue where bits would get put into a full bag resulting in them effectively vanishing.Fixed issue where bit bag could contain air which would fill up slots.Item menu is now a size between 3 and 12 equal to types of bits in the bag + 1.Item menu no longer shows durability bars for creative mode players.Lots of changes to the bit bags including a few bugfixes:.Scrolling whilst holding a chiseled block now rotates the block around the Y axis.(clicking the roll buttons whilst sneaking goes counter clockwise now) Added new roll Y button to the chiseled block menu.Added off-grid chiseled block placement.(so those familiar with the old mod don't get as confused any more) Added every available chiselable block to the creative menu as a Locked Morphing Bit.Added the ability to lock morphing bits as the currently selected bit type, from that point on that morphing bit will always attempt to place that bit type.Thank you all for testing out these alphas! This will mean 1.13/1.14 will both be versions of Minecraft that will never see a proper functional version of C&B so I do hope 1.14 doesn't become a 'main' version. This could take quite a while but I'll try to release an alpha as soon as it's possible. So, despite how much I wanted to have a fully functional 1.14 build for everyone to use I'm going to have to move to 1.15 and rewrite all rendering code before I can call the mod presentable. Blocks can take seconds to actually render when first placed, some startups the client crashes completely or no blocks render at all, transparency has major ordering issues where chiseled blocks behind glass are invisible. I've been planning on rewriting all rendering code from scratch once I moved to 1.15 but it's become clear that C&B2's current crappy hacked together version of C&B1's rendering system won't be good enough to present as finished. ![]() This has to do with me being busy with other projects and being less motivated to work on C&B2 specifically. You might have noticed that this alpha took double the time to make in comparison to other alphas despite not having twice as many features as normal. Compatibility for shaders will be looked at for the 1.15 update but they won't be supported in the 1.14 versions. If you wish to make builds you wish to keep using in the future you should stick to the 1.12 version of the mod.Ĭhiseled blocks are invisible when using shaders. ![]() ![]() Worlds created on any alpha 1.14 will crash on the 1.15 version. You can find the differences between the original C&B and C&B2 here. Please see #10 for a list of known bugs, reporting issues that are not listed there is highly appreciated! It is compatible with all versions Forge 28.1.105 or newer. Here's the fifth alpha build of C&B2 for Minecraft 1.14. ![]()
